Return visit Just returned to this little restaurant and it was everything we remembered, friendly staff, excellent food and very good value for money .

Lovely Italian, good food , spot on 👌 Friendly staff that were very welcoming. We hadn’t booked and they managed to find us a table on New Year’s Eve ( very busy ) … lovely food that was very reasonably priced .. couldn’t fault it. Will def return thanks

Amazing food. Was a beautiful meal on New Years Eve. Friendly staff, always keen to chat even though they were busy. We used this place for delivery during lockdown and deliberately made a beeline to have a meal when we could. Thankyou for a lovely meal, the pork with pistachio was lovely by the way 🙂

Friendly staff, lovely food & atmosphere & very reasonably priced. Excellent service, very welcoming & accommodating. We were a table of 8 & hadn't booked but luckily it was 6pm & they soon rearranged tables to accommodate us all. Lovely atmosphere the whole evening & it certainly became much busier during the evening. The food was delicious especially the pork fillet & salmon & the tear & share bread was a lovely starter to share. Thank you for a lovely evening & delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

Simply the best food in Scarborough. Absolutely delicious food in lovely surroundings. Typical home made Italian cooked to perfection. The best meal we have had in a long long time. Friendly host & generous portions. Highly recommended.

Brilliant meal, lovely helpful staff Visiting my brothers to do Christmas gift exchange and our meal was excellent. Typical Italian food, freshly made. Every plate was finished. I had Lasagne which was excellent and full of flavour. One brother built his own pizza and this looked wonderful with up to four generous toppings. Everyone enjoyed their food. Desserts were also homemade and excellent and good value too. It's worth noting there is a happy hour from 5 to 7pm every evening with special prices on pizzas and pasta dishes.

Dinner for 2 We can safely say we had the finest meal here for a long time . Superb quality & very generous portions . It was difficult to find fault.

Excellent meal and staff In Scarborough for just one evening and needed somewhere that would do an early meal. Il Piatto opened at 5pm - staff very welcoming. Food (we both had pasta dishes) was delicious, and the puddings were divine. Early doors discount meant the final bill was incredibly good value. Simply faultless.

Nice quick evening meal It has a small menu the starters are a bit limited, lots of tomatoes, but it was nice and tasty, it was ok and the staff were friendly

Hidden gem 💎 We booked a table for my husband’s Birthday, as it had been recommended and is dog friendly. What a find! After a very warm welcome, we were served such beautiful food (& wine) by Robert and Rachel. We liked it so much we ended visiting a second night. Highlights being the Gamberi in Padella and the Lasagne. I’m afraid I couldn’t review any desserts as we didn’t have enough room to try them - maybe next time. Although it is a dog friendly restaurant , we’ll-behaved dogs are only allocated to certain tables in the restaurant, so as not to disturb other guests. So, if you don’t like dogs (?!?) you don’t need to be anywhere near one. We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Scarborough! I would highly recommend this gorgeous restaurant!
